This seminar will explore how to design dementia-enabling clinical settings. It will provide an overview of the design principles that help to mitigate the cognitive and functional deficits experienced by many people with dementia. Two examples - from community aged care and hospital settings - will be presented by the clinicians involved in their design and implementation.
This presentation will focus on how the assessment of frailty in lung cancer and its impact on treatment decisions may change how we manage patients with this advanced malignancy.
