Research

Our research sits at the interface between mature research and the clinical setting and we focus on individuals with chronic illness, frailty or disadvantage due to health problems. Our researchers include academic clinicians, scientists, practicing clinicians and health administrators and our collective goal is to provide solutions that are acceptable and sensitive to patients both within Australia and overseas.

Our three foundation centres include the Australasian Kidney Trials Network (AKTN), the Centre for Online Health (COH) and the Centre for Research in Geriatric Medicine (CRGM).  The combined capabilities of the 3 Centres provide a powerful platform for health service research, enabling the refinement and expansion of the current programs. In time, our research themes will grow and further improve our capacity to deliver outcomes for health service providers and more importantly, to patients.
