The Health Economics Research & Modelling Unit contributes technical expertise and policy-relevant research to the Centre for Health Services Research. The Unit works collaboratively with national and international research institutions and industry groups to evaluate health interventions and develop models that progress the field of health economics. Our clinically-related areas of interest are health of older people, dementia, rehabilitation, allied health and telehealth.
Particular areas of methodological research interest include:
- Decision-analytic and simulation modelling
- Measuring and valuing health outcomes
- Health services and systems performance
