HERMU researchers presented at IAHPR, Switzerland
Dr Kim-Huong Nguyen and Dr Centaine Snoswell of UQ’s Health Economics Research & Modelling Unit attended the joint International Academy of Health Preference Research (IAHPR) PREFER Workshop and Symposium held on 13th July 2019 in Basel, Switzerland.
At the workshop, IAHPR members presented their work on “Good practices for health preferences research” as part of a book on how to conduct preference research that they are collating.
Dr Kim-Huong Nguyen presented her work at the IAHPR Scientific Meeting. Her elevator pitch talk was about comparing dementia-specific health state values between people with dementia, caregivers and older Australians using a discrete choice experiment with duration.
The abstracts for this session have been released in Springer’s The Patient - Patient-Centered Outcomes Research volume 12, August 2019.
Dr Nguyen has been a regular member of the IAHPR since 2018. IAPHR is an international network of multilingual, multidisciplinary researchers who contribute to the field of health preference research.
