Patient and Carer Advisory Board Services

In addition to its central role in the eQC Project, the Patient and Carer Advisory Board is able to provide lived-experience perspectives on Health Services for the wider research community.

The Board can help you if you are a researcher who is:

  • Developing grant applications for applied health or social care research which requires the involvement of people who are impacted by the health or social condition being investigated.
  • Developing resources/materials/questionnaire for focus groups, interviews, surveys, etc.
  • writing applications to national, open, peer-reviewed funding streams.
  • Seeking a person with lived experience to join and advisory group for their project

You could be an early career researcher with a focus on health services, community services, or dementia treatment applying for Early Career Researcher Grants or a researcher at any level who needs input on public involvement.
