HERMU hosts TreeAge Pro Healthcare modelling training

Sponsored by UQ’s Faculty of Medicine, UQ’s Health Economics Research & Modelling Unit (HERMU) hosted a two-day TreeAge Pro Healthcare modelling training at the UQ campus in Woolloongabba, Queensland, on the 13th and 14th of August 2018. The workshop was presented by TreeAge Training Pty Ltd., which has a national and international reputation for providing high-quality, hands-on training with advanced modelling and analysis techniques. It involved standard and advanced training on microsimulation, Markov and discrete event simulation modelling using TreeAge Pro Healthcare software.

HERMU, within the Centre for Health Services Research (CHSR), undertakes model development to generate economic evaluations in the context of healthcare. Markov (including microsimulation) and discrete event simulation modelling is performed using TreeAge Pro software.
