Dr Aaron Sia (MBBS (Hons) BSc) is an Advanced Trainee in Geriatric Medicine and a PhD Candidate with Professor Ruth Hubbard's team at the Centre for Health Services Research. His PhD project is titled Addressing Frailty in Older People with Haematological Malignancies, and his program of work aims to explore how the serial assessment of frailty can improve the care of older patients with haematological cancers, understand how frailty impacts on patients and their caregivers throughout their journey, and develop novel tools to make frailty assessment feasible in resource-limited real-world clinical settings.
