Researcher biography

Dr Sullivan graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland. She completed a Research Doctorate in Medicine (UK) at The General Infirmary at the University of Leeds. She maintains several national and international collaborations and research interests. She has received several large grants including a prestigious Pfizer CVL fellowship.

Dr Sullivan is currently a senior staff specialist in Endocrinology and Deputy Chair of Medicine at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. She is the Co-Director of the Clinical Service Improvement (CSI) funded by the Queensland Clinical Excellence Division, Healthcare Improvement Unit with an active interest in health services research and translating this work into improved efficiency and quality of care for our patients across the health care system. She regularly presents her work at national and international meetings. Dr Sullivan was heavily involved as a clinical leader in the transformation of the Princess Alexandra Hospital into Australia's first large scale tertiary digital hospital.
