This presentation by Associate Professor Lois Holloway will give an overview of The Australian Cancer Data Network which is a federated data network where data remains at local institutions but analysis and overarching models developed can be achieved through iterative machine learning.

Our network has been focused on radiation oncology data to date, in particular considering learning from imaging and radiotherapy treatment planning information. Access to such data has the potential to provide additional evidence for patients and clinician, particularly where patients do not meet clinical trial eligibility and to assess how well clinical trial results are translated to clinical practice.
