Telehealth Futures: Where to for Telehealth in Australia?
4 September 2019 12:00pm–1:30pm
Video-consultation to specialists is now an established and growing part of routine health care delivery in rural Australia. However, a rich array of telehealth capabilities is emerging that are under-utilised in Australia.
Rather than a marginal enhancement of health care delivery, telehealth could become a central feature of metropolitan and rural health care delivery – for specialist AND primary care practitioners, providing opportunities for improved clinical outcomes, patient convenience and service efficiency.
A light lunch will be served from PAH at 12 noon for those who RSVP by 30 August 2019.
Please RSVP by 30 August 2019 to chsr@uq.edu.au and advise of any dietary requirements.
