Dr Benjamin Sly is a Consultant Endocrinologist who undertook his training at the Cairns Base and Princess Alexandra Hospital and is currently working in private practice at the Mater Private Hospital. 

He also works at the Princess Alexandra Hospital within the Physician Training Unit where he is involved in training for junior medical doctors. He is a current Higher Research Degree candidate at the University of Queensland investigating the impact of a digital hospital environment on the management of inpatients with diabetes.

The presentation will review current literature surrounding impact of digital interventions on inpatient diabetes care and discuss the digital environment and impact on care for patients with diabetes at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A light lunch will be served at the PAH from 12 noon for those who RSVP by 18 July 2019.
