Since graduating from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Queensland in 2001, Jodie has spent her career working as a clinical pharmacist in both private and public sector hospitals within Australia and the United Kingdom. She completed her post graduate qualifications in Clinical Pharmacy in 2007. In 2012 whilst working for UnitingCare Health, Jodie was asked to join a team of clinicians tasked with the build and design of an electronic medical record to be implemented within Australia’s first fully integrated digital hospital – St Stephen’s Hospital in Hervey Bay. Since this time, Jodie has remained within the electronic medication management space and in early 2017 joined eHealth Queensland as a Senior Application Specialist, as Queensland Health commenced the roll out of its integrated electronic medical record across the state. Jodie has commenced her research higher degree via the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland and is currently researching the impact of an electronic medical record on the safety and quality of therapeutic anticoagulation management.
