A/Prof Tracy Comans and Nicole Moretto are part of a team, led by Metro North Hospital and Health Service, that is investigating the performance of 48 newly established allied health primary contact services in public facilities across Queensland. These services were established to address long waiting times for specialist outpatient consultations.
The first paper for this study, which describes the process to establish allied health primary contact services in a public health service, has been published in the Australian Health Review.
