Tell us about your career journey
I have spent more than 15 years in public healthcare, in both Australia and Singapore. I started my career in research ethics and policy, building a supportive environment for researchers. I then moved into hospital operations, where I worked with clinical teams to improve systems at the front lines. I witnessed the day-to-day challenges faced by staff and patients, which led me to move into healthcare innovation and support systems transformation.
Prior to moving to Brisbane, I was responsible for developing an inter-hospital group platform to test market-ready technologies from start-ups globally, to accelerate the adoption of market-ready healthcare innovations, at speed and at scale.
What inspired you to join QDHeC?
My passion has always been in transforming healthcare; and being at the forefront of that excites me. I am especially passionate about getting great ideas implemented in ways that makes a difference.
QDHeC's vision and ethos resonated very much with me - right at the forefront, driving and leading very advanced work to contribute to the improvement of health and healthcare.
